The New Mexico Goatheads are the newest team in the ECHL — the premier “AA” developmental hockey league affiliated with the NHL.
Established in 2025, the Goatheads will make their debut in the 2026–27 season, hosting 36 regular-season home games at the Rio Rancho Events Center.
