Know Before You Go

Below is everything you need to know when visiting the Rio Rancho Events Center.

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS

The Rio Rancho Events Center is located at 3001 Civic Center Circle NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144.  Our nearest intersection is Paseo del Volcan & Unser in Rio Rancho.  We are 30-45 minutes from downtown Albuquerque.

Direct routes include I-40 WEST to Unser NORTH, Paseo del Norte WEST to Unser NORTH or, I-25 NORTH to US-550 WEST to Paseo del Volcan WEST.  Save time by using KING or ARENA off Unser to access the venue.

PARKING

Parking is abundant and usually free for most events.  Be sure to check the individual event page for more information on parking fees. Arrive early for best and closest parking options.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

PATRON SCREENING GUIDELINES – This venue requires screening for everyone entering the facility during event preparations and the event.  This includes employees, contractors, vendors, teams/performers, concessionaires, suppliers, media and official patrons and ticket holders. Search detail may include Metal Detection, Hand-Held Wand Screening and/or Bag Search. Screening is voluntary, however, failure to allow screening will result in denial of entry.

COVID-19 – Currently, patrons attending events do not require a vaccine to enter the facility.  However, this requirement can change depending on event, venue or government discretion.  To check requirements for your specific event, please check the Event Page.

BAG POLICY & PROHIBITED ITEMS

Clear Bags, Diaper and Medical Bags of any size are APPROVED.  All other bags must be no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″.  Backpacks, computer bags and oversized bags are NOT allowed. All bags are subject to search.

PROHIBITED ITEMS include, but are not limited to, Weapons or any kind, outside Food and Beverage, including Alcohol, Personal & Professional Cameras, Video Cameras or Recording Devices, Computers/Tablets, Laser Pointers and signs of any kind.  For a full list of prohibited items and arena Policies, please visit our Arena Policies page.

CASHLESS VENUE

The Rio Rancho Events Center is a cashless venue.

Concession stands, bars and VIP Catering do not accept cash.  Acceptable forms of payment include all Major Credit Card and Apple Pay.

Please be advised, outside food and beverages are prohibited.

The Rio Rancho Events Center enforces a “no re-entry” policy.  If a guest enters the building and has their ticket scanned, they cannot re-enter using the same ticket.  For emergency situations, please contact a Security or Guest Services member. 

TICKET INFORMATION

The Rio Rancho Events Center is a TICKETMASTER venue. Ticketmaster and the Rio Rancho Events Center Box Office presented by Chalmers Ford are the only authorized ticket sources for most events. For more information and ticket links, please visit the individual event page.

Tickets purchased from the Ticketmaster website or app are MOBILE tickets and must be presented at the door on a mobile device for barcode scan.  The Rio Rancho Events Center does not have free public WiFi and cell phone reception is not guaranteed.  We encourage you to add your tickets to your mobile wallet prior to arriving and have your phone fully charged for the fastest entry.  More information on Ticketmaster and the box office can be found on our Box Office page.
