Peso Pluma, who was recently named one of Billboard’s Latin Artists on the Rise, has had nine songs on the magazine’s Hot Latin Songs chart including three Top 10s.  He has collaborated with contemporaries such as Natanael Cano, Gabito Ballesteros, and Luis R. Conriquez, as well as expanding his scope by linking up with urbano figures such as Ovy On the Drums and Nicki Nicole.  The singer has more than 19 million monthly listeners on Spotify as well as more than 193 million views on YouTube and aims to take corridos – a century-old Mexican song tradition that recently has received renewed interest by fusing itself with rap, hip-hop, and urbano – further than they have gone before.  Peso Pluma announced his first tour will also feature special guest Alemán on select dates.

Rio Rancho, NM (February 3, 2023) The Indoor Football League and Duke City Gladiators announced the regular season schedule for 2023.  Another exciting indoor football season kicks off the weekend of March 25, 2023 and will include 15 regular season games.  The home opener against the Frisco Fighters will be Saturday, April 1, 2023, with kick-off at 6:05pm. The Duke City Gladiators completed the 2022 season with a 7-5 conference record winning 5 of 8 games on their home field.

The Duke City Gladiators will play eight regular season home games at the Rio Rancho Events Center located at 3001 Civic Circle Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  Fans will be welcomed back on Saturday, April 1 at 6:05pm for the home opener when the team hosts the Frisco Fighters. The Gladiators have something to prove to the Frisco Fighters and encourage fans to show up and cheer the team to victory over this tough opponent.  Doors open at 5pm.  Come early for some exciting pre-game entertainment.

After two back-to-back home games, the team will be on the road for three weeks and return home to take on the Tucson Sugar Skulls on May 13, 2023.  The Gladiators will have a few additional road games before returning to Rio Rancho to finish off the regular season with four home games.

Dwight Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, and he is a 21-time nominated, multiple Grammy Award Winner.  He has 12 gold albums and 9 platinum albums, with five of those albums topping Billboard’s Country Albums chart with another 14 landing in the Top 10.  Nearly 40 of Yoakam’s singles have charted on Billboard, with 14 peaking in the Top 10. Yoakam is a recipient of the Artist of the Year award from the Americana Music Association, the most prestigious award offered by the organization, he will be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in the Songwriter/Artist category at the 49th anniversary Gala on October 14, 2019 in Nashville, TN.

Yoakam’s self-curated SiriusXM channel, titled Dwight Yoakam and The Bakersfield Beat ‘Where Country Went Mod’ launched in April of 2018. The channel celebrates the Bakersfield sound and those whom it has inspired. Guests have boasted the likes of Post Malone, Lukas Nelson, Beck, Chris Hillman, Jakob Dylan, Mike Nesmith and Mickey Dolans, Dave Alvin, and Jackie DeShannon, among others.

In 2016, Yoakam released his bluegrass album Swimmin’ Pools, Movie Stars… on Sugar Hill Records. Featuring a band of bluegrass luminaries, this album boasts a collection of reinterpreted favorites from his catalogue, as well as a cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain”. Produced by nine-time GRAMMY winner Gary Paczosa (Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton), Jon Randall (songwriter of “Whiskey Lullaby”), and Yoakam himself, and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, this album reflects the love for bluegrass music that Yoakam developed at an early age in Kentucky and that has inspired him for many years thereafter. In 2018, Yoakam released two songs, “Pretty Horses” and “Then Came Monday” (the latter written with Chris Stapleton).

In addition to his musical career, Yoakam is a formidable film and television actor who has appeared in over 40 feature films, including Sling Blade and Panic Room. Most recently he was on the big screen in Clint Eastwood’s latest film, Cry Macho. He recurred in David E. Kelley’s Amazon series Goliath and appeared in director Steven Soderbergh’s film Logan Lucky with Channing Tatum and Daniel Craig.

The Iconic Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band Make Their Way to Rio Rancho this Fall 

May 8, 2023 – Today Ringo Starr revealed his Fall tour plans. Speaking to Pollstar for the current cover story two weeks before launching his Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band Spring tour, Ringo shared that the band will also be touring this Fall. Read it here.

 “Well, I love to play. I love an audience,” Ringo told Andy Gensler of Pollstar. “This is a known fact. I love the audience, they love me.   We have fun on tour. That’s what it’s all about. 2022 was a busy year for Ringo that included Spring and Fall tour dates with his All Starr band. Ringo also released EP3 on September 16, 2022 and on November 18, 2022 EP3 was issued on 10” vinyl and blue cassette and accompanied with a new music video, “Everyone and Everything.” On November 25, 2022 Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band Live at the Greek 2019 (Roccabella via BFD/The Orchard) was released on Blu Ray, DVD, CD and a special yellow double vinyl. In addition, Ringo created 500 life sized “Peace and Love” sculptures of his iconic hand symbol. These were sold exclusively through Julien’s Auctions to benefit the Lotus Foundation.
