RUNNERS GEARI NG UP FOR SEASON 5 WITH OPEN TRYOUTS

Rio Rancho\, N M (September 20\, 2023) – The New Mexico Runners are gearing up for their 5th season and are
\nlooking for local talent to compete in the Major Arena Soccer League. Tryouts are set for those who are
\ninterested in a chance to secure a roster spot on New Mexico’s first Major Arena Socc er League Team in the
\n2023-24 season.

The tryout is slated for two days at the Rio Rancho Events Center on Saturday September 23rd wi th check in
\nbeginning at 12:00 PM MT and Sunday September 24th with check in starting at 10 AM MT. Athletes should
\nexpect to workout f or about 2 hours each day.

Interested athletes can register online . Early bird registration online is $40 and it will be $50 the day of at t he
\ndoor. If you have any questions regarding the tryouts\, call the Runners office at 505-663-7786. Must be 18
\nyears or older to parti cipate. USL soccer Hall of Fame Inductee and Head Coach Steve Famiglietta will be
\noverseeing the tryout along with his coaching staff to find some outstanding talent in our community.

“It’s incredible that w e’re heading into season 5 of this exciting game. I look forward to seeing what talent we
\nwill find that can compete at this level.” Said Fam iglietta.

The fifth season for the New Mexico Runners will kick of f in December and they will play all home games at the
\nRio Rancho E vents Center. Season tickets are now on sale\, starting as low as $80 for all home games and can
\nbe purchased online. New M exico’s schedule will be released by the league within the next couple of weeks.
