RUNNERS GEARING U P FOR SEASON 5 WITH OPEN TRYOUTS

Rio Rancho\, NM (September 20\, 2023) – The New Mexic o Runners are gearing up for their 5th season and are
\nlooking for l ocal talent to compete in the Major Arena Soccer League. Tryouts are set f or those who are
\ninterested in a chance to secure a roster spot on New Mexico’s first Major Arena Soccer League Team in the
\n2023-24 se ason.

The tryout is slated for two days at the Rio Rancho Events Center on Saturday September 23rd with check in< br />\nbeginning at 12:00 PM MT and Sunday September 24th with check in st arting at 10 AM MT. Athletes should
\nexpect to workout for about 2 h ours each day.

Interested athletes can register online. Early bird registration online is $40 and it will be $50 the day of at the
\ndoor. If you have any questions regarding the try outs\, call the Runners office at 505-663-7786. Must be 18
\nyears or older to participate. USL soccer Hall of Fame Inductee and Head Coach Ste ve Famiglietta will be
\noverseeing the tryout along with his coachin g staff to find some outstanding talent in our community.

“It’s incredible that we’re heading into season 5 of th is exciting game. I look forward to seeing what talent we
\nwill find that can compete at this level.” Said Famiglietta.

The fifth season for the New Mexico Runners will kick off in December and they will play all home games at the
\nRio Rancho Events Center. Season tickets are now on sale\, starting as low as $80 for all h ome games and can
\nbe purchased online. New Mexico ’s schedule will be released by the league within the next couple of weeks .
